Public BBQ

A local playground at Sunnybank Hills built on the foundations of the old water reservoir, up on the top of the hill and out of sight of the road, which is why it stays quiet and largely known to locals. Two separate play areas offer a good deal more than the usual swings and slides and cover toddlers through to teenagers, while the traditional swings and slides are still there a few hundred metres up the hill. Paved paths link everything, the whole site is easily accessible by wheelchair, it is well shaded through the day and the grass is kept trimmed. There is a barbecue area. The catches are real: no toilets, no water at all, and parking awkward enough that a nearby side street is often the only option.
